Gmail.com Login Gmail.com Sign in

To understand how to check the Gmail.com login page, you need to understand how these phishing schemes work and how to avoid them.

Gmail Login

Hackers often request their personal information from suspicious people or send an email to log in to their account by going to the Gmail login page. In both cases, e-mails are sent from what seems to Google, and even the login page is designed to look like Google’s own login system.

In the past, the easiest way to identify a phishing scheme was to check the address bar. In many cases, it seems suspicious that the address of the webpage is not Gmail.

Now, a malicious hacker has created a web page that seems to be hosted on Google’s server, even SSL-protected looks even more authentic. When you enter your user name and password, that information will be sent to the unprotected server. In many cases, the logged-in person does not know that the information has been stolen. This makes it difficult to judge whether you are actually logging in to your account or if you inherit your user name and password.

Important items to remember are as follows.

We will not send you an email requesting your personal information or login information.
Google will not send you a message containing executable attachments.
Before clicking the link in the email, be sure to verify that the message was authenticated by the domain that the sender claimed to be the sender. This can be easily done with the following steps:

Open the message.
Click the drop-down arrow just under the sender’s name.
To see if the domain matches the sender’s email address, please check the list of ‘signer’ and ‘postal address’.
Verify the correct Gmail login page

There are several ways to check if you are using the correct login page on Gmail.com.

Please visit Gmail directly at https://mail.google.com/ or http://mail.google.com/. This is the safest way to log in to your account and verify that you are on the correct login page.
If you click the link and move to the login screen, please double check that the URL is correct. Click the image or link on the page to confirm that it is guided to the appropriate page.
As a general rule, please do not click on the link of the mail, please go directly to Gmail. Again, Gmail will not prompt you to enter personal information or log in to your Gmail account and view the document. If you see such a message and it looks like genuine, please visit https://mail.google.com/ and sign in to your account
